The San Francisco 49ers certainly had an exciting offseason, acquiring stars left and right such as Richard Sherman and Jerick McKinnon to join Jimmy Garoppolo, who the team traded for during the 2017 season.
McKinnon, one of the new guys in town, says the team is pretty confident about their chances this year.

San Francisco is coming off a fairly disappointing 6-10 season in 2017, but everyone from the executives to the players in the locker room think they can make a big jump next year. After filling in some holes around the team and locking down their franchise QB with a huge contract, the 49ers have their sights set on big things.
In five games last season, Garappolo threw for 1,560 yards and seven touchdowns en route to a 5-0 record. This kid is the real deal, and if you need any more assurance, he’s been playing under arguably the greatest QB of all time, Tom Brady, up until this point in his career.

Most people are probably doubting the 49ers at this point, but they wouldn’t have gone out and added all these pieces if they didn’t think they could compete now.
