Jimmy Garoppolo fears no man.
Garoppolo was drafted in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft by the New England Patriots, and right off the bat he thought he was the best quarterback on the team. Now I know what you must be thinking, “what about Tom Brady?” Well, Garoppolo thought he was better than him too.

That’s right, Jimmy Garoppolo, someone who had never played an NFL snap at the time, thought he was better than the quarterback who many consider to be the greatest to ever play the game.
Patriots fans may be calling this blasphemy, but if you are a 49ers fan, this is great to hear. Not only did you get this guy from the Patriots for next to nothing, but now you hear that you got the better of the two quarterbacks from that team.

This inspired a competitive relationship between Garoppolo and Brady, and he admitted that at times the two were not always on the best of terms.
“We got along, but there were always times where we wanted to kill each other,” Goroppolo told Bleach Report’s Joon Lee. “It was a healthy, competitive relationship.”
Ultimately, Garoppolo has confidence in himself that he is the best, and that is what drives him to be just that.
