Jon Gruden said exactly what you’d expect him to.
Derrick Johnson was an absolute stud for the Kansas City Chiefs for over a decade, even until the very end. However, the time came for the two sides to part ways, and Johnson ended up joining the Raiders.
That led Gruden to drop an awesome quote about how he loves stealing from the Chiefs.

This is a division rivalry at its finest, even in the offseason. Gruden only added more fuel to the fire with his latest comments.
Yes, it's early, but here's what the Raiders' first-team base 4-3 defense looked like in their first OTA practice – LDE Tank Carradine, LDT Maurice Hurst , RDT Justin Ellis, RDE Bruce Irvin; SLB Tahir Whitehead, MLB Derrick Johnson, WLB Emmanuel Lamur;… https://t.co/84fZHB2aNl

Johnson will anchor the middle of the defense as the middle linebacker, and he’ll be flanked by Tahir Whitehead and Emmanuel Lamur in the new 4-3 front the Raiders will feature this season under Gruden.
You’ve got to love his experience in that role, as he’s the type of player who makes the guys around him better. Johnson’s experience makes him a coach on the field of sorts, which is just what the doctor ordered.
The Raiders may be older, but they sure look better defensively for adding Johnson.
