This is only going to make Steelers fans out there even more nervous about the current Le’Veon Bell saga.
As we all know, the superstar running back has been a no-show, and missed the team’s Week 1 tie with the Cleveland Browns.
James Conner had one heck of a showing, rushing for 135 yards and two touchdowns. He remains as the team’s starter heading into Week 2. However, there’s one major change on the depth chart: Bell is not listed.

A message sent by head coach Mike Tomlin? On the team’s official website, Bell indeed is not found on the depth chart, but there’s a note at the bottom of the page that reads, “RB Le’Veon Bell has not signed his franchise tender.”
Woof.
This separation continues to be an ugly one for everyone involved. Steelers fans are frustrated with how Bell is behaving, as are his teammates. At this point, who knows when he’ll return to the team.
Mike Tomlin says he has not spoken to Le'Veon Bell. Says issue remains the same.

Tomlin can’t be happy with the way his stud playmaker is behaving either. As for Conner, he’ll get another shot this weekend to show he’s more than a suitable replacement.
