Report: Vikings-Eagles Will Open The 2018 Nfl Season

Almost two months ago, the Minnesota Vikings had the chance to become the first team ever to play a home Super Bowl game. They just had to get past the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles had other ideas, however, as they stomped the Vikings in the NFC Championship Game, 38-7.

Luckily for the Vikes, they won’t have to wait long to exact their revenge as they are slated to take on the Eagles in the opening game of the 2018 NFL season.

“The Vikings will visit Philadelphia to take on the Eagles in the annual Thursday night opener in the Super Bowl champion’s host stadium, according to longtime Philadelphia media member Howard Eskin.”

This time around, the Vikings will have another QB under center after they landed former Redskins QB Kirk Cousins in free agency. The Eagles didn’t sit around either this offseason, trading for former Seattle Seahawks star Michael Bennett to bolster their defense.
