It’s not about how you start, it’s about how you finish, and AJ McCarron certainly finished strong against the Chicago Bears. Although his night began with awful decisions and multiple interceptions, the former Alabama star turned into a hero in the fourth quarter, as the Bills scored 25 unanswered points. It wasn’t his best throw of the night, but his touchdown pass to Keith Towbridge was obviously the most important completion, giving the Bills the lead with 13 seconds remaining.
McCarron finished with 164 passing yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions on the night. Nonetheless, the young quarterback stepped up when it mattered most.
From being the biggest joke of the night to leading an epic comeback, McCarron went through a rollercoaster of emotions.

This might not change his position in Buffalo’s quarterback battle, but McCarron definitely proved his doubters wrong tonight.
