Can you feel it in the air?! Can you?! Former Eagles and Broncos legend Brian Dawkins let his hard-hitting intensity fly on Friday night when he officially got fitted with his Hall of Fame Gold Jacket. We couldn’t have expected a better performance.

Dawkins lit up the ceremony, even outshining Ray Lewis, and probably made T.O. wish he’d decided to stop by and enjoy the festivities.
The entire 2018 class will be officially enshrined Saturday night, with an evening full of speeches and emotions sure to follow. But during that indelible speech, you definitely have to be a bit more controlled than Dawkins was on Friday. The jacket ceremony’s the time to get a little loose and rowdy, and there was no shortage of that here.
Dawkins’ 16-year career included 13 in Philly and three memorable campaigns in Denver. Anyone who witnessed a single one of those contests would tell you this is incredibly in character.
