Sean McVay took the NFL world by storm by becoming the youngest head coach in NFL history last year at just 30 years old. With an 11-5 season and NFL Coach of the Year honors under his belt, McVay hit the practice field again this week, showing off exactly how he does it.
“Wooo! It’s good to be back, man!”

There are several interesting takeaways from LA’s first OTA through the eyes of McVay. One can see how his youth benefits him, as the Miami OH graduate just oozes energy on the practice field.
He sounds almost like Jon Gruden, talking to players with respect and yet maintaining a tight practice and remaining an authority figure.
Sean McVay’s pure joy for the start of practice is awesome.
Also, fascinating how much he sounds like Gruden every now & thenhttps://t.co/UlyrapGl3q

Hearing McVay talk about Brandin Cooks is like listening to a kid in a candy shop on repeat.
”How fast is Brandin Cooks…isn’t that awesome.”
“How about how fast Cooks looked on that strike.”
“How fast Cooks is… isn’t that awesome.”
It’s clear McVay is a fan of the Cooks trade from this offseason. Now with a legit N wide receiver, McVay and the Rams could be even scarier this year as they hope to take down the rest of the NFC.
